Internship

A typical summer internship lasts for 8 weeks from the end of June through to the end of August.

We would look to take interns in all of our 6 locations so that's the three provincial offices Bristol, Leeds and Birmingham and the three South East offices, Epson, London and St Albans.

The interns will get the opportunity to A) work on client assignments, B) get to interact with consultants in their locations to understand what the consultants are doing on a day to day basis, and they will also participate in a project which will get them to learn more about working as a team, working with an external client and delivering on a project.

I'd hope that they get to understand what working at Hewitt is all about, what working life is all about learning what it is like to work in an office based environment, getting to work with clients and understanding what we expect of our associates as there career develops and hopefully being attracted to a career at Hewitt so that in the following years they will approach us and apply for jobs with us.

We look clearly with our interns to offer them positions immediately on graduation following completion of their internship if they have performed to the standards we expect.
