Frequently asked questions

What is the process for selection?

Once your application is received it will be reviewed by a member of the Graduate Recruitment team. If you meet the minimum requirements and your answers make us want to know more about you, you'll be asked to undertake two short online assessments. Following this successful candidates will be invited to attend a Graduate Assessment Day.

What is the closing date for applications?

We don’t operate a closing date as such, as we are always happy to talk to people with the right skills and attitude who are interested in working with us and our clients. We have already filled almost half of our planned graduate roles with some very impressive under-graduates who were part of our internship programme over the summer.

We are running assessment days from late October to early February and expect to fill the remaining places from those days. We therefore advise that you apply now.

What will the Graduate Assessment day contain?

The Graduate Assessment day is designed to assess various activities that we believe demonstrate the essential qualities for our future consultants. We are currently updating these activities and will post details here later in October.

You will also be given a tour of the location and an opportunity to talk to other members of the team over lunch.

What is the minimum criteria for selection?

In order to be considered for a graduate role at Hewitt, you will need to meet the minimum criteria, which are:

  • Expected to attain a 2:1 or equivalent grade in your degree
  • Have a grade B in A Level Maths (or equivalent)
  • Have a grade B at GCSE English Language (or equivalent)
