We have called our structured training and development programme 4ward, as we feel that accurately reflects the affect it has on our careers, as well as highlighting the four key types of skills that form part of being a Hewitt consultant.
The programme enables you to learn the skills you need to do your job and progress through your career with us.
Working with your manager you will review the four types of skills you need to carry out your role:
• Technical
• Interpersonal
• Client Service
• Business Acumen
You will create your own individual training and development plan using 4ward to link in to the training courses that correspond to your specific needs. You will then track your progress with your manager and review regularly through feedback received from your colleagues.
Using this programme we aim to develop the your abilities as quickly as you are able with the aim that you reach consultant or manager level within 4 years of joining Hewitt.
You will then have the opportunity to celebrate reaching that milestone alongside your peers, to start to focus on the next phase of your career, and the way in which you will look to develop the four still types during that phase.
