St Albans

St Albans

The historic city of St Albans offers excellent shopping, a range of evening entertainment and many pubs and restaurants. With easy access to the motorway network and good rail links, it is just half an hour from London. Whilst a city in name, St.Albans is a nice size and many would view it as a lovely market town. Whether city or town, it is a place that it’s inhabitants are very proud of, and their votes recently helped it to top spot on the new UK wide Monopoly board.

St Albans was first built as Verulamium; today its Roman heritage and magnificent Abbey Church attract many visitors. Beyond the city there is plenty to explore: a wealth of villages in the Hertfordshire countryside that the Beckhams chose as their UK home. There are plenty of good pubs, beautiful walks, historic churches as well as more modern attractions very close to St.Albans.

The Hewitt office is within walking distance of the mainline train station. It has a fine view of the Abbey Church (above) and plenty of open parkland, plus the convenience of Sainsbury’s to the rear. The consultants in the office have built a strong reputation for innovation and it is home to two financial model development teams. One focusing on new ideas for clients and one on more effective modelling tools for our consultants. The office is also home to our UK Valuation Centre that deals with the bulk of our calculation work that forms the base for the further modelling and advice that our consultants provide.

Outside work this is another office with a strong passion for sporting activities.
